MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: May 5, 2008
Present: Stephen Enoch, John Makuc, Robert Annelli and Peter Kolodziej
Also Present: Matt Puntin of SK Design
The meeting began at 3:45pm
1. Mail was reviewed.
2. Peter K. gave the Board a run down on his meeting with Joe Wasiuk of the Elephant Rock Association regarding a potential public water supply located on Mt Hunger near where a proposed subdivision would like to go.
3. Matt Puntin of SK Design came in to discuss Kutscher’s Sports Academy and the Shoreline house. The proposed plan is to tie in 2 homes. The Board also talked about the Hilltop house (owned by Don Bernard) and his plans to put in a new septic there. An application was submitted for the septic at the Shoreline house, which the Board approved, it still needs to be approved by the Director of Operations and the installer needs to sign and apply for his Monterey installer’s permit.
4. The Board approved the 4/7/08 minutes.
5. The Board signed the agreement with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on 7/22/08 at the Town Hall from 1-6pm.
6. Owners on Art School Rd contacted Peter Kolodziej to have him present for a noise reading. Peter Kolodziej has confirmed with DEP that they have already perform these tests and no significant amount of noise registered.
7. S. Enoch let the other Board members know that he raised the Board of Health expenses by $400 at the Town Meeting to cover any expenses incurred when we host the Blood Drive (advertising costs).
8. The Board will not meet on the 19th of May. The Board will meet again on June 2, 2008.
