MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: July 2, 2007
Present: Stephen Enoch, Peter Kolodziej, Robert Annelli and John Makuc (arrived at 3:55)
The meeting began at 3:45 pm
1. The minutes from 6.4 & 6.18.07 were approved as written.
2. Mail was reviewed.
3. The water results for Gauthier and Duryea have been received and there wasn’t any contamination on those properties.
4. Beaver removal permit application was reviewed for Rawson Brook Farm and approved. The trapper just needs to come in and sign the application and provide his trapper number. (S. Enoch recused himself from this discussion)
5. The pasteurization application for Rawson Brook Farm was reviewed and approved. (S. Enoch recused himself from this discussion)
6. Bob from White Engineering came in to discuss the Bodian property on Lake Garfield. White Engineering was wondering if the bedroom determination has been finalized and if the slab/foundation issue was resolved. An alternative technology system is going to be installed. They will be applying for a distance waiver from the foundation to the septic.
7. The well permit application and plans were reviewed for Ahye at 656 Main Rd.
8. The 7/16/07 meeting has been rescheduled to 7/23/07.
9. John Makuc spoke with Paula Schutzmann at length about the Lee VNA services and how the board decided to stay with Berkshire VNA as of right now and how the board is still looking at long run possibilities.
10. J. Makuc gave an EDS update.
