MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: March 19, 2007
Present: Robert Annelli, John Makuc and Stephen Enoch
The meeting began at 3:43pm
1. Marshall White of White Engineering came into discuss the Kamenstein property at 18 Woodland Dr. The owners have decided to do an upgrade on their own property with a jet bat system and keep it as a two bedroom. There will also be a deed restriction recorded limiting it to a two bedroom. There will be a variance request with regards to the well location up to the leach field. Their application to DEP has been pulled.
2. The minutes from 3.5.07 were approved as written.
3. The April 16th meeting falls on a holiday (Patriot’s Day) and the meeting will be moved to April 23rd.
4. M. Noe informed the board that the Monterey General Store did not claim their certified letter concerning the recent tobacco violation. The board will hand deliver it this week.
5. The board reviewed the ZBA application for Paul Geall of 24 Carrington-Battelle Rd and submitted their findings to the ZBA.
6. The board reviewed the proposed letter to be placed in the Monterey News surveying the community on the needs/wants for a visiting nurse service.
7. The board completed their nomination papers for the Inspector of Animals positions and alternate positions. They will be mailed in to the Department of Agricultural Resources tomorrow.
8. John Makuc reviewed a few items with the board from the EDS planning meetings he’s attended.
