MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: November 20, 2006
Present: Robert Annelli, Peter Kolodziej, and Stephen Enoch
The meeting began at 3:45pm
· Peter Kolodziej investigated a complaint about an “Inn” located at 34 Art School Rd that may be operating without a permit. Peter left his card at the house with a note to please call him and will try calling the homeowner tomorrow.
· Jeff Parvis on 41 Chestnut Hill Rd came in to discuss replacing his septic system. He inquired about the perc rates and the file was pulled and reviewed. The board suggested that he contact Marshall White of White Engineering about his last visit there.
· The board spoke about the ZBA approval on the Brenner special permit.
· Scott Mackenzie came in to discuss the fine imposed for installing a septic system on Chestnut Hill Rd without a septic permit. Robert Annelli recused himself from the meeting as his son works for Scott. He wishes to appeal the fine but understands that if this has been imposed upon other installers he wouldn’t expect any special treatment. The other 2 cases, the fee was waived since it was a first offense and Stephen Enoch decided that this would be fair in this instance as well. A letter will be sent to this effect.
· Stephen Enoch will contact Nora Hayes about attending the next meeting to give an update.
