MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: November 6, 2006
Present: John Makuc, Robert Annelli, Peter Kolodziej, and Stephen Enoch
The meeting began at 3:42pm
· Marshall White of White Engineering came in to inquire about the well permit for Kamenstien. P. Kolodziej advised that a permit would not be issued until DEP approval has been received regarding the septic.
· Mail was reviewed.
· Chetta revised plans were reviewed (15 Norwalk Acres). The installer that wants to do the work is not currently BCBOH certified but is an approved Presby installer. He is signed up for the course in November but installation needs to occur prior to when the course is being offered. The board gave permission for this installer to put this one system in with the provision that he must take the BCBOHA septic installer’s course.
· Kamenstein revised plans were reviewed; changes were made to take the retaining wall out of the setback so that they would not need to file with the ZBA. They are aware that the board can not approve retaining walls and a packet has been submitted to the Building Inspector.
· Canki plans were reviewed;
· ZBA Application for Kevin & Jill Brenner of 42 Elephant Rock Rd was reviewed and there are questions concerning the Common Room and it’s potential to be a bedroom.
· ZBA Application for Paul Geall of 24 Carrington-Battelle Rd was reviewed and the board of health cannot approve this plan as submitted.
