BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: January 9, 2006
Present: Stephen Enoch, Melissa Noe (clerk), Peter Kolodziej, Robert Annelli
The meeting began at 3:45pm
· Reviewed and approved minutes from 12.19.05 meeting
· Reviewed ACO submissions received from an email sent by Manny Maciel, President of the Animal Control Officer’s Association: Jayson Tracy of Plymouth, Brian Everett of Barnstable and Robert Jackman of Chester. Robert Annelli will follow up with the applicants. Discussed the reason for 3 positions: Dog Officer, Inspector of Animals and Wildlife Control Officer; Wildlife Control Officer should be eliminated and the duties should fall under the Inspector of Animals. Job descriptions are necessary for each position.
· Discussed installer permit expiration dates and whether they run calendar year or fiscal year. It was decided to continue having them run calendar year to expire on the last day of December of that year.
· Stephen Enoch is going to work on the Town Report and submit that to the Town Secretary.
· Reviewed the Finance Committee’s budget request forms and Stephen Enoch took them with him to fill out.
· Discussed the septic system complaint for the Post Office and decided to investigate once the thaw occurs to see if it’s a surface problem or not.
