Finance Committee Meeting Minutes for Monday, February 6, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.

- The Finance Committee discussed the articles on the warrant for the special town meeting. Warrant attached. The special town meeting will be held on March 2, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
Article 1. The Finance Committee supports approving this article.
Article 2. The Finance Committee supports approving this article.
Article 3. The Finance Committee supports approving this article.
Article 4. The finance Committee does not support approving this article at this time. The Finance Committee requests that legal council be consulted on this issue.
Article 5. This article is not a money article.
- The Finance Committee briefly discussed the budgets that they have received but
are going to wait to receive the highway and fire budgets.
- The Finance Committee recommends putting the health insurance out to bid. A motion
has been made and a unanimous vote has been taken on this recommendation. Also, the Finance Committee discussed paying for health insurance for two administrative positions.
A letter has been prepared to present to the Select Board regarding Article 4 on the warrant and regarding the health insurance questions.
