The board discussed a date for a potential Special Town meeting on March 1 or March 2.
The board discussed a memorandum received by Baily Boyd Associates, re: a Community Development Bock Grant. The board requested a meeting with Alice Boyd for January 23.
The board discussed the capital plan, re: trucks, bid jobs or own, and adding roads to the plan. Also, going out 20 years with the plan.
The board discussed hiring an IT company / specialist and combining all hardware and software under one line item. Departments with required or licensed software should continue to use their own line item.
The board discussed centralizing office supplies on one line item.
The board discussed itemizing the Fire Departments budget lines.
The board voted to submit an article in the Monterey news on the role of the finance committee in the budget process.
The board agreed to hold regular FC meetings every other Monday at 4pm.
