Finance Committee Meeting - 12/20/16

Meeting started at 3:30 p.m.
The Board discussed with the Broadband Committee an update on broadband solutions. The Broadband Committee has held several multi-town meetings to exchange information and develop potential strategies. Discussions centered around developing a tri-town RFP to represent a better opportunity for any potential vendor. The Broadband committee is meeting on December 21st to clarify which of the towns will participate and also finalize cooperative MLP. Monterey is also concurrently working on its own RFP. Both RFPs are expected to be issued on January 6, 2017. With final decision being made on February 6, 2017. The States’ RFP is issued now and will be finalized on January 11, 2017.
