We organized the budget request forms that had so far been returned.
We obtained an expense report from the town accountant ( Steve ) for the period
7/01/10 to 12/31/10 to determine what each department had drawn to that date
and were they over or under there previous years request and how it compared
to there next years request. We made some small changes where last years requests
were not being fully almost fully drawn.
Dan left the meeting 30 minutes after we began.
Melissa entered all the information in FY12 Request column.
We gave Melissa a list of the departments that we wanted to meet with to
review there requests in detail, and asked that they meet with us on Jan. 20, 2011.
A vote was taken by the members of the finance committee having to due with wage increases for the fiscal year 7/1/2011-6/30/2012.
The committee voted 2 to 1 to advise the Select Board not to increase wages.
