Monterey Cultural Council Minutes for January 19, 2015
Meeting called to order at 7 pm at the Meeting House Basement.
Council Members present: Wendy Jensen, Roz Halberstadter, Fiona De Ris, Susan Johnson, Steve Weisz, Pat Salomon, Kit Patten
Old Business:
-Accounting review for state and town, treasurer’s report, Kit
-Information submitted to state website by Wendy and Susan. State annual report finished.
-Continuation of state grant process, finished stuffing envelopes to mail approval letters.
New Business:
-3 upcoming concerts to plan for in the next few months, Adam Brown, Eric Martin and Don Mikkelsen. Letters have been sent to all of them and they will contact us when they have a date set. They have been asked to not make plans on nights that the Knox Gallery has its openings.
-Search for new members. 3 members will go off the Council this year. Kit, Susan and Wendy. Tonight was Kit’s last meeting. Susan and Wendy will go off the Council in October. Several names were suggested and will be asked to join the Council as soon as our next meeting.
- Steve Weisz will be our new treasurer. He and Kit will work together on the next reimbursements to work towards a smoother transition.
-Thank you and farewells to Kit.
-Next meeting will be Feb. 23 at 7pm. Wendy will check to see if we can be at the Knox Gallery, otherwise we will be in the Meeting House Basement again.
