The Monterey Cultural Council

Present at the meeting: Emma Micklewright, Susan Johnson, Kit Patten, Wendy Jensen, and Diana Deacon.
1. Printing and mailing of the survey was completed.
2. Grant application material was posted in town.
3. Pat will write another article advertising this years grant cycle.
4. Kit reported that compensation has been made to Don Barkin and John Root.
5. Kit will check the CC town office mailbox for reimbursement requests survey responses, and other mail.
6. The Festival for Women Writers had questions regarding reimbursements that were dealt with by Wendy.
7. The possibility of a group space for the Monterey Makers Tour will be revisited later when we see if there is a need for one.
8. Emma will create a poster for the tour.
9. A second jazz night will most likely be held in the church basement. Diana reported that tables could be rented from Taylor Rental for $9.00 each. Taylor Rental would drop them off and pick them up for a single fee of $45.00.
10. Barbara and Graham Dean will play at the Church on Saturday at 7:30. Kit will make signboard and Wendy will bring refreshments.
11. Next meeting will be October 24th.
12. This years’ studio tour will be held on Dec 7.
13. The possibility of adding a group display space in church basement was discussed again.
