The Monterey Cultural Council
May16, 2013 at 4:00 pm
Present at the meeting: Emma Micklewright, Pat Salomon, Roz Halberstatder, Susan Johnson, Kit Patten, Wendy Jensen, Fiona De Ris and Diana Deacon.
- Kit and Pat will prepare and post signs for Barabara Swann’s lecture.
- Don Mikkelsen “Jazz in the Basement” will be held on Saturday, June 29 from 8:00-10:30 pm. Fiona will begin setting up in the church basement at 7:15pm.
- Refreshments were planned for Barbara Swann’s talk and jazz night.
- John Root will be asked to forward more copies of his poster before the next meeting for distribution by the council members.
- The state has requested that we solicit community input regarding future events and projects to be funded. A small survey will be undertaken. Questionnaires will be made available at several of our events, as well as the general store, town hall, the road side restaurant and other popular local meeting places.
- In future, meetings will be held at 4:15 pm, rather than 4:00 pm.
