The Monterey Cultural Council
February 21, 2013 at 16:00
Present at the meeting: Pat Salomon, Lynne Leavitt, Fiona De Ris, Susan Johnson, Kit Patten, Wendy Jensen and Diana Deacon.
1. Lynne announced that she would be resigning from the CC as of this meeting. We are grateful to Lynne for the excellent job that she done as Chair.
2.Wendy has graciously agreed to accept the position of Chair.
3. Kathryn Roberts joined us with a view to determining if any unfunded applications could be sponsored by Bidwell House funds.
4. It was decided that John Root’s talk on crop circles would take place in late summer to take advantage of the larger audience.
5. Pat reported on possible interest on the part of the Hume directors in jointly sponsoring events with the CC.
6. Compensation for several events was tentatively agreed upon in the following amounts:
Bonner McAlister $200.00
Barbara Swann $200.00
Don Barkin $400.00
Multicultural Bridge $250.00
7. Pat raised the question of what our funding priorities should be, and how we should establish these.
8. Susan presented job descriptions for key positions on the CC.
