Meeting 4pm Monterey Library
Attending: John Heffernan, Chair, Diana Deacon, Roz Halberstadter, Wendy Jensen, Lynne Leavitt, Kit Patten
John reported that all is up to date. Annual report to state has been approved; He has sent out approval letters. John is the “Man of the hour, year, and forever, who does it all”!!! Thank you for being so efficient and capable.
New Business: The town will be depositing $2800 into our program account on June 30th, which has already been approved. Pat is eager to schedule activities so she can begin to plan publicity. Kit offered to help her. We need to make a list of where to cover publicity....both physically and thru media. Wendy stated that now the website is up and running, it might be easier to spread the word.
Discussion centered around Spring, Suimmer and Fall events already approved with MCC money as well as Town money approved and to be determined.
Several members offered to pursue these suggestions for next meeting.
Studio Tour was such a success that it was decided to make it an annual event. Wendy is willing to Chair this on Dec. 1st, 2012.
Committee members: bring ideas for community programs to next meeting.
