Meeting in Library: Present: Diana Deacon, John Heffernan, Wendy Jensen, Susan Johnson, Lynne Leavitt, Kathryn Roberts, and Pat Salomon
I. GRANT APPLICATIONS;
John explained that town budget and grant approval dates are not the same. Our state grant money for this year is $3870. and town grant is $2800. He recommended that we split some grants between both state and town money. The committee reviewed applications for the third time, and made final decisions.
The declination letters are due to be sent by Dec. 15th. That is date of our next meeting, so will be done then.
II. STUDIO TOUR;
Wendy has performed a remarkable task in having everything well organized. She distributed posters and postcards to members. John has house sign numbers being printer and will distribute. Pat is handling publicity with corrected information from Wendy.
Schedule: Opening Night: Friday Dec. 2nd, 6-8pm Library Reception for Miniature Show and Studio Tour (Susan and Roz will bake for this)
Saturday, Dec. 3rd 9:30am Susan and Roz at Library to pass out maps, obtain name and email addresses of addendees.
Pat will be stationed at Roadside to do same as abo
Library will remain open until 3pm, when Mark will be responsible for closing it.
The entire committee who are in town will be involved in this day, and it will end with a Potluck Dinner at Wendy’s 6-6:30 Sat. night,
Don’t forget our final meeting of the year: Thursday, Dec. 15th 4pm at the Library!!
