Meeting called to order by John Heffernan in Monterey Library at 4pm, May 26,2011. Present: John Heffernan, Maureen Banner, Dianna Deacon, Roz Halberstadter, Wendy Jensen, Susan Johnson, Lynne Leavitt, Kit Patten, Kathryn Roberts, and Pat Salomon. (Full Membership Attendance!!!)
Final plans for Peggy Reeves Transfer Workshop on May 21st were discussed. The class is fully subscribed. Kit will pick up and transport Peggy’s machine, deal with refreshments. Breakdown must happen at 2 because another meeting is scheduled later.
Pastel Workshop, Greg Maichack on June 7th: Kathryn will handle refreshments. John will deal with sign up contact.
Birds In Bloom, powerpoint lecture June 17th witn Rene Laubach will be open to all. Sue will provide cookies, Lynne responsible for email addresses and collection jar.
John is the sign-up contact.
Bird Walk June 18th with Rene Laubach at Diane’s Trail. Here, there will be a minimum of 20 people. John is sign-up contact.
John reported the two hikes with Bonner McAllester were very successful. July 1st starts next year’s budget cycle. Discussion about payment and how checks are cut and paid to presenters ensued.
