In attendance: Maureen Banner, Diana Deacon, Kit Patten, Wendy Jensen, Susan Johnson, John Heffernan and new volunteer, Roz Halberstadter.
Final look before the May 29 event: Wendy, Kit and Wendy's daughter Hannah will cut berries prior to the upstairs concert and puppet show and have arranged for utensils, shortcake (baked by Hannah) etc. Kenn Basler will set provide and set up a table for coffee etc.
All members are "Invited" to help with table and chair set up at 1PM on Saturday and for clean-up as well as leftovers (if any). Members have also volunteered to help with the strawberry cutting and whatever else is needed to get ready.
We reviewed other upcoming events and all appear in order. We will double-check each event performers prior to their appearance date. Kit has done a great job with making financial arrangements and has also done posters and cards for the Monterberry Fest. Cards and posters have been placed in good locations locally and in Great Barrington and will also be put in Otis and other places as well. Maureen has done lots of excellent publicity work for this and other events.
As noted above, we welcomed new member Roz to the Council, which, with the addition of Diana Deacon last month, brings us up to ten members.
Unfortunately, Neil's term on the council is expiring. His membership was valuable and many thanks go to him. As a reward, he has a lifetime pass to all our free events !! Also, we will stop sending him all those pesky E-mails.
Lynne is recovering well and we look forward to her return (and resumption of Minutes duty).
