MEETING DATE:  JULY 11, 2018
Present: Marion Simon, Mark Little, Jeremy Rawitz, Kimberly Wetherell
The meeting convened at 6:00 pm

Quagliata – NOI – 4 Point Rd – placement of sand along the bank of Lake Garfield to maintain a beach area.
This is a continued hearing.  No one was present.  DEP file number has not been received yet as the applicant has not set in the necessary paperwork to DEP.  Table hearing for next meeting.

Green – RDA – 26 Sylvan Rd – remove rotting retaining wall and replace with boulders (M. Little)
This is a continued hearing.  No one was present.  Table hearing for next meeting.

Johnson – NOI – 12 Riverwood Way – to construct a 3 bedroom single family home to be serviced by the existing infrastructure.
This is a continued hearing.  No one was present. Table hearing for next meeting.

Schwartz – RDA – 19 Buckingham Lane – dig around foundation, fill in cracks, seal & waterproof exterior wall, add insulation and drainage pipe for runoff into Lake Garfield.
Mr. and Mrs Schwartz were present with revised plans to install a “rain garden” rather than a drainage pipe for runoff.  The commission approved the revised plans with the stipulation that a site visit by one of the members would need to be conducted to approve erosion control and the siting of the rain garden.  The project was approved as a N3.

Rawitz – RDA – Steven’s Lake Rd – Install removable boat ramp on Steven’s Lake (Simon & Agent)).
Jeremy Rawitz was present and recused himself as a Conservation Commissioner.  Jeremy presented his plan for the removable boat ramp.  The project was approves as N2.

Simkowitz – NOI – 98 Steven’s Lake Rd – demo existing cottage, construct new single family home and associated sitework (Little & Agent)
Sarah M. Gapinski, the project manager for SK Design Group was present to review the project details.  Ms. Gapinski addressed the comments made by Mark Stinson of DEP.  The submitted plans are accepted into the record with the standard Order of Conditions issued relative to this project.

Salamon – RDA -170 Gould Rd. – remedial repair to control leaking in pond. (Rawitz & Agent)
Mr. and Mrs. Salamon were present with the plan to repair the dam.  The project was approved as N2.

Enforcement & Emergency Orders and Ratifications:

16 Woodland – Owner has not responded to EO sent.  Kim followed up with Dave Cameron at DEP.  Cameron does not have a dock license on file for the property.   Marion Simon will provide photos of the current dock and Kim will submit them to DEP.

Minutes from June 13, 2018 were approved as written with the addition of an Emergency Order ratification for Old Beartown Road.
