CONSERVATION COMMISSION

The meeting convened at 6:00p.m.
Certificate of Compliance – RT 23 (D. Dempsey is the project manager)
A request to issue a certificate of compliance was received from the Monterey Select Board for the RT 23 resurfacing project. The certificate was issued.
Request for extension – DEP File # 230-0243
The Monterey Select Board requested that an extension permit be issued for DEP file #230-0243. The extension permit was issued as requested for an additional 3 years.
For Discussion:
- Mail was reviewed.
- Minutes from 12.13.16 were approved as written.
- An informal discussion was held with Rob Hoogs and Gould Farm regarding a proposed Community Center that is partially in the buffer zone of a wetland. The applicants will be formally filing a NOI.
- Dan & Paula Lewis came in to discuss a piece of land they are looking to purchase at the end of River Rd. The Commission informed the Lewis’ that their jurisdiction is anything within 200 feet of the river.
