Conservation Commission Minutes 11/15/16
CONSERVATION COMMISSION
Town of Monterey, Massachusetts
                                                                        
MEETING DATE: November 15, 2016
Present: David Dempsey, Dennis Lynch, Claudia Crane and Dominic Stucker
The meeting convened at 6:00p.m.

Resnick – 24 Lakeside Terr – NOI – demo existing house, construct new single family, septic upgrade, driveway realignment, drainage improvements, new dock and tree cutting (D. Lynch is the project manager)
Craig Okerstrom Lang and Shannon Boomsma were present to review the project details.  Revised plans were provided to the Commission.  The Commission approved the project as submitted.

Woolley – 24/26 Blue Hill Rd – NOI – ecological restoration of pond and dam repair (T. Lovett is the project manager)
Thomas Coote was present to review the project.  The 401 water quality review still has not been completed but DEP has stated that the hearing can be closed and an Order of Conditions may be issued subject to that report.  The Commission approved the project as submitted subject to the 401 quality report.

Mathews – 161 Beartown Mtn Rd – RDA & SMA RDA – to renovate the existing house with some small additions (C. Crane is the project manager)
Mark from Foresight and Evan Hardcastle were present to review the project details.  They explained that 2 days after the RDA was submitted there was a fire that destroyed 2/3 of the home and therefor the scope of their request is to demo the home and build new.  Both requests were approved as submitted.

Canning – 172 Main Rd – RDA – place a foundation, driveway, septic for new single family home (T. Lovett is the project manager)
The applicant was not present, this hearing will be continued to the December meeting.
