CONSERVATION COMMISSION

MEETING DATE: October 11, 2016
Present: Timothy Lovett, Claudia Crane and Dominic Stucker
The meeting convened at 6:00p.m.
Resnick – 24 Lakeside Terr – NOI – demo existing house, construct new single family, septic upgrade, driveway realignment, drainage improvements, new dock and tree cutting (D. Lynch is the project manager)
The applicant has requested this hearing be continued until the November meeting.
Woolley – 24/26 Blue Hill Rd – NOI – ecological restoration of pond and dam repair (T. Lovett is the project manager)
Thomas Coote representative for the project was present to review the project details. The applicant is still waiting on the 401 water quality certification from DEP. The Commission cannot act on this until the 401 certification is received; it will be continued until then.
Steiner – 29 Art School Rd – SMA NOI - to construct a new single family residence including a well, septic and driveway (C. Crane is the project manager)
Chris Blair representative for the project was present to review the project details. The Commission approved the project as submitted.
Gauthier – 522 Main Rd – RDA – septic upgrade (D. Stucker is the project manager)
Kelly Granger and Parsons was present to review the project details. The project was approved as a N5 as submitted.
Mass Electric – RDA – remove 6 poles, install 3 new poles and 1 new pushbrace pole (D. Lynch is the project manager)
Kate Wilkens of Tighe and Bond representative for National Grid was present to review the project details. The project was approved as submitted as a N2.
For Discussion:
- Ben Granskog and Ann Canning came in to discuss a previously issued DA for Main Rd. to discuss a change made affecting their property by the town. The DA is expiring in December; the Commission agreed to extend the permit under the permit extension act.
- Foresight Land Services came in to informally discuss a project at 161 Beartown Mtn Rd that they will be submitting for the November meeting.
- Mail was reviewed.
- Included was an email stating that Mr. Leffler was going to attend the October meeting to discuss the violation, no one showed.
- Minutes from 9/13/16 were approved as written.
