CONSERVATION COMMISSION
Town of Monterey, Massachusetts
MEETING DATE: 3/8/16
Present: Timothy Lovett, David Dempsey and Claudia Crane
The meeting convened at 6:15p.m.
For Discussion:
- Mail was reviewed.
- Minutes from 2/9/16 were approved as written.
- The Commission agreed that they would sign letters of support (which Dennis will compose) for the Friends of Lake Garfield with regards to a grant they are applying for and for a boat ramp monitor.
- Ron Yaple will reschedule to a future meeting to discuss HWA.
- The Commission signed a letter authorizing the clerk’s hourly rate to be raised to $20/hour for Conservation Commission work which is paid from the Wetlands Revolving Account not through town appropriated funds. Tim and Dave both commended Melissa for a job well done through out her years as the Commission’s clerk.
