CONSERVATION COMMISSION

MEETING DATE: February 9, 2016
Present: Timothy Lovett, David Dempsey, Dennis Lynch, and Dominic Stucker
The meeting convened at 6:20p.m.
For Discussion:
- The Commission issued the Certificate of Compliance for 48 Tyringham Rd.
- Mail was reviewed.
- Minutes from 1/12/16 were approved as written.
- The Commission discussed the recent request from 14 Bidwell Rd to cut down trees on his property that are affected by HWA.
- Dennis noted that he is trying to get in touch with the Accountant to determine where the $25,000 fine collected by the Conservation Commission is located and to make sure in writing that the money is available. Once the location is confirmed the Commission will discuss how the money can be used.
- Dennis is going to follow up with DEP on the combined meeting with New Marlborough to discuss the Lake Buel dam.
- The Commission asked M. Noe to add climateactiontool.org to the Conservation’s page on the website.
- The Commission discussed raising the hourly rate for their Clerk to $20/hr; all agreed.
- The Commission requested copies be made of the Commission review for a NOI and the report of the Commission.
