CONSERVATION COMMISSION
Town of Monterey, Massachusetts
MEETING DATE: 7/14/15
Present: Timothy Lovett, David Dempsey, Christopher Blair, Pat Edelstein and Dennis Lynch
The meeting convened at 6:00p.m.
Kane – RDA – 30 Sackman Way – construct a handicap ramp/walkway from rear of driveway to existing waterside deck (D. Dempsey is the project manager)
Roger and Carol Kane were present to review the details of the proposed project. The Commission approved the project as a N3.
For Discussion:
- Chris Tryon of Berkshire Geo-Tech came in to follow up on the Town Enforcement Order issued for work done on Beartown Mtn Rd. Kenn Basler was also present for the discussions. This project has been completed to the satisfaction of the Commission.
- Kenn Basler was present to discuss the New Marlboro Rd bridge and plans for replacing the temporary bridge with a permanent structure which will be slightly larger and wider.
- Mail was reviewed.
- Minutes from May and June were approved as written.
- All members signed the Emergency Certification Form for the installation of a temporary bridge on New Marlboro Rd.
- The Commission thanked Chris for his 22 years served and wished him well in his future endeavors.
- It was agreed that Dave Dempsey and Tim Lovett would share Chairman responsibilities.
