CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Present: Timothy Lovett, David Dempsey and Christopher Blair
The meeting convened at 6:15p.m.
Lombardo – RDA – 62 Worth Lane – placement of a well and trenching to the house w/in buffer zone, some septic work in buffer (D. Dempsey is the project manager)
Rob Hoogs of Foresight Land Services was present to review the project. Updated plans were provided (dated 12/23/10). There is an existing septic system in the buffer zone and they are proposing to construct a new alternative, raised system. The existing shallow well will be decommissioned and a new well drilled. Revised plans have been submitted to the Board of Health but have not been approved to date. The Commission approved the project as submitted as a N3 with the following condition, “the contractor shall call the Monterey Conservation Commission member, David Dempsey at 528-6996 one (1) week before construction begins.”
For Discussion:
1. Mail was reviewed.
2. Minutes from 12.14.10 were approved as written.
3. Mickey Gervas came in to see if the Commission heard anything back from DCR on the removal of the poles on Brett Rd. The Commission has not heard anything. She also had concerns about logging/clearing done on the LePrevost property.
