CONSERVATION COMMISSION

The meeting convened at 6:00p.m.
6:05 – 6:25pm Walsh – 464 Main Rd, RDA Septic Replacement with 1 foot variance
Mike Parsons showed as a representative for Brook Walsh. He needs to upgrade his septic system and is clearly outside of 50 feet of the wetlands which was incorrectly stated in the public notice. A silt fence barrier will be around the system and will remain until the banks are seeded and mulched. This project was approved as submitted.
6:25 – 6:55pm New England Keswick – Chestnut Hill Rd – RDA Vista Pruning
Matt Kinnaman and Paul represented New England Keswick and provided plans showing where they plan to do the work. About ½ is in the 100ft buffer zone. This is really not vista pruning but cutting for their own use. This will be continued until New England Keswick can provide a detailed, scaled map of the work to be done with dimensions in the 100ft buffer zone.
7:00 – 7:18pm Rosebrock – 29 Dowd Rd – RDA Dock Repair
Keith Rosebrock came to discuss a proposed dock repair at 29 Dowd Rd. The dock is going in the same place they are just replacing the damage done to it this winter and it will be removable, roll up dock. This project was approved as submitted.
For Discussion:
1. The Enforcement Order for Edward Feiner was signed by the board.
2. The board discussed possibilities of where to post the SMA regs. Some possibilities are in the Zoning Bylaws or Town Bylaws or making a brochure similar to the WPA.
3. Mail was reviewed.
4. Holding a 2nd meeting in a month was discussed and we will plan one if the need arises.
