- A motion was made by Chairman Stan Ross of the Board of Assessors with reference to the Overlay Surplus Account. There will not be a transfer money out of that account for the Fiscal Year 2017. This is due to a pending ATB case settlement. The motion was seconded by Board member Bob Lazzarini and passed.
- The Board discussed the pending ATB case. The Board recently had their walk through the property and they found the current assessment to be accurate. However, there are a few aspects of this property that are not assessed because of the AssessPro system does not calculate these additional findings. There are many aspects of the house that are exceptional and should be assessed. The Board has on file four appraisals for comparison properties that the Board will have researched. Bob will contact Richmond Appraisal Company to critique the existing appraisals. The Board also discussed the previous ATB findings for this property as it pertains to the new case. Don will provide field cards for similarly assessed properties in Town. Bob will study these cards along with
the property card of the ATB case and report his findings to the Board.
