- Information regarding the ongoing field work and updating the maps. Also, building permits. Map 108 and most of map 109 has been completed. Both Don Clawson and Don Hopkins have been working on these updates. Stan Ross brought up the subject of a laser measuring tool for measuring houses. Don Clawson will research this question. Next will be map 110 and the rest of the Lake Buel area. Quite a bit of new value has been recorded. One of the things that the Principal Assessor will have to work on next year will be building analysis. This is a requirement by the state. There will be more information regarding this topic as it becomes available.
Building Permits. Before the Principal Assessor closes the books for the year he will be going out to finalize the building permits that he has on file.
- The Principal Assessor will be away for the week of August 5 to August 9 so that he can attend classes.
- The clerk needs a new printer. Approval was given to purchase a printer.
- Stan Ross asked about Board Member Donald Hopkins. Donald has been attending Reserve/Intermittent Police Training and has not been available for Saturday morning meetings. Donald has been here for office hours on Wednesday afternoons and has been working with Donald Clawson on all of the field work. Donald Hopkins will be back for Saturday morning meetings beginning in October.
