- Update with the Principal Assessor. Verizon abatement. Town needs to approve the tax abatement for poles and wires from the year 2009 for personal property taxes as outlined in a letter on file with the Assessors. Meeting interrupted so that Stan Ross could contact the Verizon attorney regarding this matter. The final decision on payment is decided by the Select Board.
- Property Abatement Requests. Stan Ross will process the abatement on the Moriarty property. Also, a request was made for a veterans abatement on a property that ownership has been transferred to daughter but veteran has a life estate in the property. The abatement request will be granted.
