9 – 9:15am: Police Dept Update
*Discuss reverse 911: cost, set up, etc.

9:15 – end of meeting:
  • Approve 8.13.12 minutes
  • Sign payables warrants
  • Review IGR No. 02-210, discuss adopting local program guidelines as suggested for the Senior Property Tax Work-Off Abatement which was accepted at the 2007 Annual Town Meeting; continue discussions, Scott to follow up with Treasurer
  • Review mail
  • Annual appointments/reappointments
  • Review any letters of interest received for the Tree Warden position
  • Administrative items; write correspondence, review mail, review weekly employee reports, etc.
  • Create a job description for the Board

  • Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 39 § 23C:  Regulation of participation by public in open meetings.  No person shall address a public meeting of a governmental body without permission of the presiding officer at such meeting, and all persons shall, at the request of such presiding officer, be silent. If, after warning from the presiding officer, a person persists in disorderly behavior, said officer may order him/her to withdraw from the meeting, and, if he/she does not withdraw, may order a constable.
