9:30am - end of meeting:
- Welcome new member and vote new Chairperson
- Approve 5.7.12 minutes
- Review info from State House on Monterey’s flag location – decide on style to be made
- Choose dates for a flag ceremony at State House prior to July 31
- Sign payables warrants
- Follow up on petty cash legality/limits and/or debit card option
- Follow up on misc bylaws approved at 2011, 2010 & 2009 town meetings and the AG’s response; Linda Thorpe to provide reports/AG approvals to the Board – M. Noe requested the documents again on 1/18/12 with no response
- Administrative items; write correspondence, review mail, review weekly employee reports, etc.
- Continue discussions on employee contracts/personnel policy/handbook
- New residents

- Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 39 § 23C: Regulation of participation by public in open meetings. No person shall address a public meeting of a governmental body without permission of the presiding officer at such meeting, and all persons shall, at the request of such presiding officer, be silent. If, after warning from the presiding officer, a person persists in disorderly behavior, said officer may order him/her to withdraw from the meeting, and, if he/she does not withdraw, may order a constable.
