Approve 7.18.11 minutes
Administrative items, write correspondence, review mail, review weekly employee reports, etc.
Monterey Flag contest; set rules and deadline
Review health and benefits comparison from surrounding towns; meet with employees
Review and amend Personnel Policy/Employee Handbook; finalize

Misc To Do Items:

1.	Vacant appointed & elected positions (ad running in Shopper’s Guide 7/14/11) Historical Commission, 1 seat – 3 year term (per our bylaws this is a 5 member board limited to a term not to exceed four years by any member) Planning Board – 1 seat *Council on Aging – 4 seats – 3 year term (per our bylaws this is a 5 member board and members a limited to no more than four years)
2.	Town Bylaw sections to review/update/create: 1. Town Report Section – update 2. Amendments 3. Revise alarm bylaws; Chief Backhaus will supply the Board with a draft proposal, Board would like Shawn Tryon, Fire Chief to review as well and submit suggestions
3.	Schedule & host an emergency management meeting.
4.	Waiting on Town Counsel response on Town Beach survey/EW will
5.	Bringing back “I Love Monterey Day”
6.	Special Articles to discuss for town meeting warrant: Installing central a/c in town offices Power-washing and painting the town hall *Remodel basement

Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 39 § 23C: Regulation of participation by public in open meetings. No person shall address a public meeting of a governmental body without permission of the presiding officer at such meeting, and all persons shall, at the request of such presiding officer, be silent. If, after warning from the presiding officer, a person persists in disorderly behavior, said officer may order him to withdraw from the meeting, and, if he does not withdraw, may order a constable.
