MINUTES ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
FEBRUARY 23, 2012

MEMBERS PRESENT: David Beaudoin, David Jarvis, Frank Carey, Tere Hrynkiw, John Martin and Ronald Fussell

MEMBERS ABSENT: Scott O’Neill

Frank Carey moved to approve the minutes of January 26, 2012 with a correction on Page 3 it should read Tere Hrynkiw not Tara Hrynkiw.

David Beaudoin seconded the motion.

It was so voted unanimous.

7:45  The Board received a written request for a one year renewal of the Special Permit issued to Ms. Piggy’s for an Adult Entertainment Use from property owner George Martin.  A condition of the special permit and the Monson Zoning Bylaws Section 6.16.7 requires that the special permit be renewed annually.

The Board received a communication from the Chief of Police stating his Department had no objections or concerns with the renewal of the special permit.

David Jarvis moved to renew the special permit for a period of one (1) year with the understanding that the conditions and limitations contained in the Boards’ decision dated November 29, 2004 remains in effect.

Ronald Fussell seconded the motion.

It was so voted unanimous.

The Board received a written request for a one year renewal of the special permit issued to the Orange Lantern D/B/A Magic Lantern for an Adult Entertainment Use from Peter, Mark & Amy Pessolano.  A condition of the special permit and the Monson Zoning Bylaws Section 6.16.7 requires that the special permit be renewed annually.  

The Board received a communication from the Chief of Police stating his Department had not objections or concerns with the renewal of the special permit.

Frank Carey moved to renew the special permit for a period of one (1) with the understanding that the conditions and limitations contained in the Boards’ decision dated March 3, 2005 remains in effect.

Davis Jarvis seconded the motion.

It was so voted unanimous.
