MONSON ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
MINUTES MARCH 25, 2010

MEMBERS PRESENT:   David Beaudoin Frank Carey, Tere Hrynkiw, Scott O’Neill and Kevin Biermann.

MEMBERS ABSENT:  David Jarvis

Chairman David Beaudoin convened the meeting at 7:30 P.M. and the Board signed the bill schedule.

Frank Carey moved to accept the minutes of February 25, 2010 as presented.

Tere Hrynkiw seconded the motion.

It was so voted unanimous.

The Board received a written request from Mark, Amy and Peter Pessolano for a one year extension to the Special Permit for an Adult Entertainment business at 399 Boston Road West.  The decision of the Zoning Board of Appeals issued on March 3, 2005 requires the owners of the property to file each year for an extension of the special permit.

The Board contacted the Police Chief to determine if he had any objections to the extension of the Special Permit for one year. He indicated he had no objections.

Frank Carey moved to renew the Special Permit for one year with the understanding that the conditions of the decision issued by the Monson Zoning Board on March 3, 2005 remain in effect.

Scott O’Neill seconded the motion.

It was so voted unanimous.

7:45 Continuation of a Public Hearing for Thomas Pratt, Trustee of the Buckwell Property Trust, 7 Reynolds Avenue  to convert the first and second floor of an accessory building into living quarters for an employee, non paying guest of owner or lessee.

Case A - 2010

Also Present:  Atty. Raymond Blanchette and Gary Pfisterer

David Beaudoin stated that David Jarvis was unable to be present for the continuation of the hearing.  If Atty. Blanchette wished to proceed it would mean the four remaining voting members would have to vote to grant the special permit, as a super majority was required for it to pass.

Atty. Blanchette stated on behalf of his client he would request a continuance of the public hearing to April 22nd.  

Frank Carey moved to continue the public hearing to Thursday April 22, 2010.

Tere Hrynkiw seconded the motion.

It was so voted unanimous.

Frank Carey moved to adjourn at 8:20 P.M.

Kevin Biermann seconded the motion.

It was so voted unanimous.
