Accept the Meeting Minutes:  Meeting Minutes from June 4, 2014 have not been prepared.

OLD/NEW BUSINESS
Hospital Road Pump Station Rehab Project ~ Tata and Howard (T&H) has prepared the not to exceed $40,000 engineering services agreement for the upgrades to the existing Hospital Road Pump Station (replacement of the interior piping and valves, replacement of the existing Venturi flow tube with a magnetic flow meter, and the installation of an emergency pump connection to by-pass the station during the project).  Design phase will be interesting, although it will be a long on-going process.

Meeting Invitation ~ Mass Water Works Association (MWWA) has invited water suppliers to attend an informational meeting to discuss options in the event MassDEP enacts the proposed changes to the Water Management Act Regulations.  Communities out East could potentially have to spend millions of dollars in mitigation.  Craig would like to attend, with the reasoning if the proposed regs are bad for other departments, it will eventually be bad for us too.  The date that works for the majority of attendees will be selected and confirmed.

W&S Department Overhead Door ~ the torsion spring on the east side bay door snapped, causing the door to slam closed uncontrollably.  Luckily no one was hurt and repairs were made by Unwin Door.  They also provided a quote of $2,200 to install (2) automatic door operators.  The price did not include the electrical work that would be required to bring power to the operator boxes.  The Commission suggested we move forward on the installation in the Fall for safety reasons.

NEXT MEETING:  The next meeting has been set for Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 3:30p.m.

ADJOURN:  A motion was made by Paul and seconded by Joe to adjourn at 4:00 p.m.  Motion passed unanimously.
