Minutes of November 20, 2012 Meeting

The minutes of the October 20, 2012 meeting were reviewed and approved with changes.
Ms. Duthie began the meeting with a treasurer’s update. She reviewed the payments for the private trees and outlined the recent deposits. She outlined the procedure for paying bills.
The Committee then discussed the planting of a memorial tree in the memory of Dick Anable. Mr. Dominick offered to contact the family when spring is closer to arrange a planting ceremony. Ms. Beaudoin also suggested that we contact members of the walking group that Mr. Anable participated to gage the level of their interest in participating.
Ms. Beaudoin and Ms. Duthie then provided the Committee with an update on the trip to Boston. They highlighted that various discussion areas that they participated in and the Committee asked several questions regarding the Charrette.
The Committee then discussed the work schedule for Big Mac and duties were assigned. Logistics of plant deliveries to the site were reviewed and the weather was discussed.
The current bill schedule was presented by Ms. Brahen and the Committee unanimously approved the payment of current bills and reimbursements.
Ms. Beaudoin reviewed current correspondence including the resignation letter of Ms. Staples from the Committee. The discussion then turned to various recruiting ideas for new committee members and various strategies were discussed.
After motion duly made and seconded, the meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
