John Morrell, Debi Mahar, Bryan Jansen, Phil Cambo, Rodney Shorette, Rob Ray

John Morrell gave the list of roads with status as of today to the Selectmen.  He said that we can shut down AshBritt on Friday.  There are a few more hangers: Hovey Road, Butler Rd., Bradway Rd., Hancock Rd.; they are 95% done with hangers.  Debris is about 60% done, if AshBritt does everything.  John feels that he can defend himself liability-wise if we shut them down on close of day Friday – Town will do the remainder of the debris work over time(not OT) (it may take 2 years).  But roads are in reasonable condition for snow plowing, etc.  John has scouted every road.

Richard questioned the estimate of 2.2 million, Rob said that he estimated it at 2.2 to 2.5.  They had estimated 5600 hangers, so far there have been 6578; the cost of hangers is $195 per tree regardless of the number of limbs on that tree that need to be cut.  The cubic yards of debris is 25,482 thus far.

John Goodrich motion:  Authorize a bucket truck for one more day to cut hangers, and AshBritt to do debris removal for two more days and then go with John Morrell’s recommendation for the Town Highway Department to finish the clean up.  Seconded by Ed Maia.  Passed.
