BOARD OF SELECTMEN
TUESDAY, MAY 25, 2010
The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen convened at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room at 110 Main Street. In attendance were John F. Goodrich II and Dr. Richard M. Smith. Edward S. Harrison was absent. Also present were the Town Administrator Gretchen E. Neggers and the media.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Acceptance of Meeting Minutes:
Dr. Smith made a motion to accept the meeting minutes of May 11, 2010 – open and executive sessions. Mr. Goodrich seconded and it was so VOTED.
Jim Barry, MA DOER – Green Communities Act Presentation:
Mr. Barry approached the Board of Selectmen and gave a presentation on the Green Communities Act, as attached.
The Board of Selectmen thanked Mr. Barry for coming in.
Approve Memorial Day Parade and Activities:
Ms. Neggers noted the parade will be the same as in the past, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Monson Medical Center and ending at Memorial Hall, where the G.A.R. will be open afterward.
Dr. Smith made a motion to approve the parade. Mr. Goodrich seconded and it was so VOTED.
Correspondence was read and completed.
At 8:00 p.m., Dr. Smith made a motion to adjourn from open session. Mr. Goodrich seconded and it was so VOTED.
