MONSON FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES                                                 OCTOBER 17, 2011

Present:        Jim Pennington, Bob Finnegan, Bob Margerison, Maureen O’Sullivan,
                Christine Edwards, Gerry Brayton, Peter Fimognari, Kurt Kaiser
                Gretchen Neggers (Town Administrator), Debi Mahar (Town Accountant)

Absent: William Dominguez, Brenda Payette (Administrative Assistant)

The meeting was convened at 7:00 pm

OLD BUSINESS / NEW BUSINESS:

1)  Motion by Mr. Brayton to accept minutes of 8/22/11.  No second as not all members          
     had copies of that correspondence.

2)  Motion by Mr. Fimognari to approve reserve fund request for the Emergency
     Management acct. in the amount of $720.00 for cleaning the  Quarry Hill emergency
     shelter used 8/26/11 to 8/28/11 for hurricane victims. THE MOTION WAS
    APPROVED unanimously.

3)  Mrs. Mahar updated the committee on  the town’s tornado expenses.  Total bills rec’d
     to date $6,293,653.58.  Total paid to date  $1,891,030.62.

4)  Next meeting set for 11/07/11 to review special town meeting warrant articles.

5)  The meeting adjourned at 7:24 pm.
