Monson Cemetery Commission

The monthly meeting of the Cemetery Commission opened at 6:05pm in the office at 32 Wilbraham Road. Commissioners present were: Jim Duggan and Jim Metzger. Also present was Paul Lovell, Superintendent. Minutes of the November 4, 2010 meeting were read and approved as presented. There were no minutes for the December meeting as there was no quorum to hold the meeting.
OLD BUSINESS:
Discussed the Rules & Regulations for the Cemeteries and that we would look at revising at a later meeting.
Discussed the Grant Application to Norcross for the new / upgrade in software for the cemeteries and a new computer to go with it. Jim will begin process and have a draft of the proposal for the next meeting.
Discussed the CPA grant and where we are. Still have not heard from Architectural Insights on a proposal from them to do specs and such for us. Jim will contact Bob Haveles and see where he is in the process.
NEW BUSINESS:
Paul handed us the proposed budget requests for the next fiscal year, a level funded budget was submitted except for the increases in wages as per contracts.
Paul also gave us a copy of the Capital Request for a new truck which is an annual request.
Paul also informed us that he believes that Al Wilcox will not seek re-election.
