Old Business:
Columbarium- Mr. Lovell would like to have a few different company’s come out and give us a quote on a Columbarium. This would allow us to be able to determine a price for each niche. A Columbarium would also allow for interments during the winter months. As of now, cremations have to be scheduled for springtime. Mr. Lovell said that cremations have been on the rise and in the long run is saving space in the cemetery. For individuals to pay for a niche will be less expensive than paying for the plot, marker and opening fees. The commissioners agreed that Mr. Lovell could get more information and have someone come out.
Black Top- Black top was started on October 29 from R and L Paving. Mr. Connery wanted to know when it would be complete. Mr. Lovell replied this Friday, Nov.2.
New Business:
The commissioners would like for the cemetery and parks and rec to schedule a meeting to discuss ground maintenance. Mr. Pascale will be contacted to coordinate a time and day that will suit all individuals.
Mr. Wilcox made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:08 p.m. Mr. Connery seconded the motion.
