Mr. Hasenjager called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. The minutes of the previous meeting were read by the clerk and accepted with a motion by Mr. Szarlan and seconded by Mr. Pease.

OLD BUSINESS:

Blacktop at Hillside – Bill Cadieux repaired the gutter on the upper back road in Hillside Cemetery at a cost of $650.00. The Commissioners felt this was a lot of money for the small area that was repaired. Paul said Mr. Cadieux worked most of the day on this and that, this price includes picking the hot patch up, rolling it out and any other labor required in repairing the gutter.

NEW BUSINESS:

Benefits for Non-Union Full-Time/Part-Time Employees - The Board of Selectmen voted at their meeting held on October 23, 2001, to provide full-time/part-time employees with the same benefits provided for union employees. This includes holidays; vacation; sick time and personal days based on the current AFSCME contract. Paul said personal time is the only benefit Gaylin currently isn’t receiving. This benefit package does not include the seasonal workers, as they are part-time/part-time and not full-time/part-time.

Meeting of December 7, 2001 – The Commissioners agreed to cancel the meeting of December 7, 2001 due to deer hunting season.

Mr. Szarlan made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 a.m. Mr. Pease seconded the motion.

Respectfully Submitted,

Gaylin Bingle
Clerk
