Open the Meeting: The meeting was called to order at 4:25pm.
Accept the Minutes: A motion was made by Michael and seconded by Russell to accept the minutes of January 14, 2013. The motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:
The Board voted and approved the following Motor Vehicle Warrants:
- 2012 – Commitment 07 – in the amount of $4,863.58
- 2013 – Commitment 01 – in the amount of $718,703.75
The Board voted and approved the following Motor Vehicle Abatements:
- 2011 Abatements in the amount of $120.31
- 2012 Abatements in the amount of $9.58
- 2013 Abatements in the amount of $663.33
The Board voted and approved the following Real Estate/CPA Exemptions:
- 1 – Clause 22 Veteran exemption in the amount of $400.00/$12.00
- 1 – Clause 41C Elderly exemption in the amount of $750.00/$32.57
The Board reviewed and signed a Certificate for Chapter 61A.
The Board reviewed and signed a Chapterland 61B lien.
The Board reviewed, voted and signed a Chapterland 61B application
The Board reviewed, voted and approved the following Revised Valuations:
- Lower Hampden Rd. 057-017C
- Reimers Rd. 048-005
The Board reviewed voted and signed the following Notice of Apportionment of Tax:
- Reimers Rd. 048-005
- 71 Silver St. 027-007
The Board discussed an abatement application that needs further research to determine their course of action. Russell will contact Roy Bishop of Bishop & Associates, who is the Boards consultant, to request his input regarding said abatement. Russell will bring this information to the next meeting and the board may have Mr. Bishop attend the meeting via telephone.
The Board reviewed, discussed and approved the following abatement applications:
- 6 – Real Estate abatement applications in the amount of $2,846.94/CPA $53.84
The Board reviewed, discussed and denied the following abatement applications:
- 1 – Real Estate abatement application
The Board reviewed 3 Real Estate abatement applications and voted to schedule site visits before taking action on them.
The Board was updated on miscellaneous items.
The next meeting was confirmed for Monday March 18, 2013 at 4:15pm as they had scheduled at their January 14, 2013 meeting.
ADJOURN: At 5:15pm, a motion was made by Russell and seconded by Michael to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
