Open the Meeting: The meeting was called to order at 4:16pm.
Accept the Minutes: A motion was made by Craig and seconded by Allan to accept the minutes of November 15, 2010 minutes. The motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
- The Board was updated on the status of Tower View LLC. According to information from Selectmen Ed Harrison, the EACC will be meeting on December 21, 2010 to reinstate Tower Views status. The Board will review the outcome of the EACC decision at the next meeting.
- The Board signed a copy of the LA4 that was overlooked at the last meeting.
- The Board was updated on the possibility of a database merger. They were informed that the database has to remain separate because Vadar does not have assessment software and Vision does not have collector software.
- The Board was updated on the church parcel on Margaret St. They were informed that the principal assessor faxed over all the information that we had to St. Patricks Church in Monson, in hopes that they would have more information regarding this property. The Board will be kept informed as to the status of this property.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Board voted and approved the following Motor Vehicle Abatements:
- 2010 Abatements in the amount of $305.96
The Board voted and denied one Motor Vehicle Abatement application.
The Board reviewed and signed Certificate of Penalty Tax for classified chapterland parcels for:
- Raymond Miller – Hovey Rd property – in the amount of $1,391.82
- Eric & Suzanne Markham – Waid Rd property – in the amount of $323.83
The Board reviewed and signed a partial lien release for Eric & Suzanne Markham for property on Waid Rd.
The Board reviewed, voted and approved the following real estate exemptions:
- 6 Elderly 41C Exemptions
- 1 Surviving Spouse 42 Exemption
- 2 Blind 37A Exemptions
- 43 Veteran 22 Exemptions
- 1 Veteran 22A Exemption
- 6 Veteran 22E Exemptions
The Board reviewed and denied 1 Elderly 41C exemption.
The Board voted and approved the following Motor Vehicle Commitments:
- 2010 commitment 06 in the amount of $12,963.39
- 2010 recommitment 05A in the amount of $73.33
- 2009 commitment 12 in the amount of $119.71
- 2009 recommitment 04A in the amount of $52.50
The Board was updated on miscellaneous items.
The next meeting was scheduled for Monday January 10, 2011 at 4:15pm
ADJOURN: At 4:53pm, a motion was made by Craig and seconded by Allan to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
