Open the Meeting: The meeting was called to order at 10:30 am
Accept the Minutes: A motion was made by Craig and seconded by Allan to accept the May 12, 2008 minutes as written.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:
Excise: The board approved 2008 Motor Vehicle and Trailer Excise Abatements in the amount of $2,641.43; 2007 Motor Vehicle and Trailer Excise Abatements in the amount of $460.44; 2006 Motor Vehicle and Trailer Abatements in the amount of 362.50. Also approved were the following Motor Vehicle and Excise Commitments: 2008 Commitment 3 in the amount of $81,651.21; 2008 ReCommitment 2A in the amount of $425; 2008 Recommitment SEC5 in the amount of $5,366.25 and 2007 Commitment 9 in the amount of $6,011.18.
Real Estate Abatement: The board approved the 2007 Monthly Abatement report in the amount of $422.09 that finalized the settlement prior to ATB for property on Old Wales Road. The office received an ATB filing for FY 2008 for property located at 84 Town Farm Road.
Omitted and Revised Assessments Report: The board reviewed and signed the Omitted and Revised Assessment Report to be submitted to DOR by June 30th.
Chapterland: The Board approved and signed a Chapter 61B rollback in the amount of $33.24 along with a Partial Lien Release for Raymond Miller on Hovey Road. Miller is removing .55 acres from Chapter 61B and selling this backland to an abutter.
EQV: The board reviewed the Propoed 2008 Equalized Valuations.
Mapping Maintanence Fee: A motion was made by Allan and seconded by Craig to approve the mapping maintanence fee as amended. The information will be forwarded on to the appropriate departments.
Office Updates: The review of the tax maps has been completed and sent on to Tighe Bond for final changes. Diane is in full swing with field review on all building permits and sales review to be completed by June 30, 2008. Diane and Ann will be attending the ChapterLand seminar in Northampton on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 with the office being closed that day.
NEXT MEETING: The next meeting has been tentatively scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 2008 @ 10:00 am to sign off any necessary paperwork prior to the end of the fiscal year. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m.
ADJOURN: At 11:35 a.m, a motion was made by Craig and seconded by Craig to adjourn. Motion passed unanimously.
