Board of Assessors
Tuesday, December 11, 2007
Members Present: Chairman Russell Bressette Jr., Assessors David Royce and Craig Benoit
Members Absent:
Principal Assessor: Diane L. Hildreth
Open the Meeting: The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.
Accept the Minutes: A motion was made by Craig and seconded by Russell to accept the minutes of November 19, 2007. Motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
Classification Code Change: This possible classification code change will be revisited at a future meeting. Diane will continue to work with the Selectmen’s office on this issue.
NEW BUSINESS:
Excise: The board signed two MVE Commitments as follows: 2006 MVE Commitment 12- $2,104.71; 2007 MVE Commitment 6- $20,677.27
Classification Hearing: The board reviewed the classification information to be presented at the Classification Hearing with the Board of Selectmen. This meeting will take place at 7:00pm.
FY 2008 RECAP: The FY 2008 Recap has been prepared with all required signatures. Once the classification Hearing has taken place the Recap will be submitted to DOR for approval.
Former Zero Property: The board would like to schedule a walk through visit. Diane will contact the new owners to schedule an appointment December 19, 2007. The Selectmen would be welcome to accompany the Assessors on this walk through.
Office Updates: Mapping project ongoing.
NEXT MEETING: The next meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 19, 2007 @ 9:30 am.
ADJOURN: At 7:00 p.m., a motion was made by David and seconded by Craig to adjourn. Motion passed unanimously.
