Read minutes of November 23, 2005 meeting. Motion to accept Gary DePace, 2nd David Royce Approved.
Discussed application from Robbins estate for 61A land classification. Board voted to do partial acceptance of application and partial denial. Application will be accepted as past applications have been done. David Royce motioned to disallow as written and to allow prior usage, 2nd Gary DePace. Unanimous.
Discretionary motor vehicle abatements not timely filed will be accepted once the bill is paid and filing for an abatement is done within 1 year time frame. All corroborating information must be provided to meet all standards set by Department of Revenue when allowing abatements to be granted. This will be the current policy of the Board of Assessors of Monson until otherwise amended.
Voted to move Assistant Assessor salary to appropriate step in order to allow for an increase of no less than $2,000.00 annually effective January 1, 2006. Motion Gary DePace, 2nd David Royce. Unanimous.
Motion to cancel meeting of December 28th, David Royce, 2nd by Gary DePace. Motion to meet monthly. Next meeting set for January 18th , 2006 at 4:30pm.
