Sixth Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM.
The Chair recognized Alex Whiteside, Chair of the Planning Board to discuss their position on Article 2 for the Special Town Meeting relating to height restrictions for accessory structures. Mr Whiteside outlined the position of the Planning Board at their public hearing on August 12th 2010, as well as his opinion as chair on revised article language that would add language to address side lot restrictions.
The Chair then recognized the following residents, abutters to a property at 646 Blue Hill Avenue, to outline their opinions on the current zoning and the language in Article 2.

The committee then discussed the Article in detail. Member Pathak made a motion, seconded by Member Bell to recommend that the Article be sent back to the Planning Board for further study. The committee voted 3-6-0 against the motion, and there was no further discussion on the Article.
The Chair noted that committee would take up the Article again at their meeting on September 1, 2010.
On a motion made by Member Turner and seconded by Member Pathak, the minutes of 8/11/10 were approved 8-0-1.
The Chair notified the committee of an upcoming RFT request from the Police to cover training costs of new recruits.
On a motion made by Member Bell and seconded by Member Folcarelli, the Warrant Committee agreed unanimously to adjourn at 9:05pm. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 25th at 7:30 in the Carol Blute Conference Room.
