Eleventh Meeting

Reserve Fund Balance: $ 343,775
In the absence of the Chair, the Secretary called the meeting to order at 7:30.
On a motion by Member Walker and seconded by Member Hurley, the Warrant Committee voted 8-0-0 to approve a Reserve Fund Transfer in the amount of $3,132 to cover costs associated with the Special Town Meeting of 9/20/2010.
The Governor's office has indicated the likelihood of a 10% cut in Local Aid for 2012.
The committee discussed options around establishing a fiscal policy in regard to the ongoing funding of the Stabilization and the Capital Stabilization accounts. The committee discussed a policy of setting aside 0.5% of annual revenue. Further discussion with the Board of Selectmen and other departments will continue.
The Free Cash # is not yet known but should be forthcoming shortly; it has to first be certified by the Department of Revenue on information provided by the Town.
The bids to print the warrant were discussed. The committee requested that Chairman Innes follow up with Paula Rizzi to receive further information and would bring back the topic for further discussion at our next meeting on December 1.
Reserve Fund Balance: $ 340,643
There will be four meetings in December on the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22. We will then take a Christmas break and meetings will resume in January on the 3rd, 5th, 10th, 12th, 19th, 24th, 26th and 31st. There will no meeting on January 17th in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.
On a motion made by Member Walker and seconded by Member Bell, the Warrant Committee unanimously agreed to adjourn at 8:50 PM.
